| I have known Leigh Happel (Miss Leigh), her amazing staff, and Pure Energy Dance Centre, Inc. for almost 5 years. My daughters Hannah and Jenna have danced at Pure Energy since they were 2 years old. We will soon be enrolling our third daughter in dance to follow in her sisters' footsteps.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pure Energy Dance Centre, Inc. The staff is truly dedicated to the children. Any child or teenager who dances at Pure Energy looks forward to attending classes. The dance instructors have tremendous patience with the children. They teach dance techniques while making it fun for the kids. The children receive individualized instruction (one-on-one) and group lessons during the course of a class. This enables the teachers to go over specific positions and moves (whether it be ballet, hip-hop, jazz or tap) to ensure that each student is doing them correctly. This individualized attention, coupled with group dances, make the classes fun. The kids feel like they have accomplished something when they are through, which is great for their self esteem.
Pure Energy puts on a wonderful entertaining recital at the end of the dance season each year. The children practice their beautifully choreographed routines several months before the show to gain the confidence to perform. The show is always a beautiful production, full of wonderful costumes, props and backdrops. The smiles on the students' faces at the end of the recital show how happy and proud they are.
All in all, I would highly recommend Pure Energy Dance Centre, Inc. to any family looking for an A+ dance studio with qualified teachers and a great student body. Ms. Leigh has a background in child education, which makes all the difference in the world. Come see for yourself--you won't be disappointed.
